The Barraquer Clinic has:

30 doctor offices, all of them equipped with slit lamp and biomicroscope.

5 operating theatres with domes made of transparent plastic that allow direct observation of the whole surgical procedure at a minimal distance from the operating field. Thanks to a close television circuit that digitally records all the surgeries, they can be viewed as surgeons see them through the microscope. The Editing Department will later select and record in DVD the most important operations, especially those that present special problems.

80 beds of which more or less 20 are used at night because nowadays, mostof the surgeries are performed as out - patient procedures.

The Ophthalmologic Iconography Department contains over 2,500,000 photographs (films, slides and digital files), available for consultation to ophthalmologists from all over the world.
