Research Interests Basic Science Research: Optical Coherence Domain Reflectometry and Optical Coherence Tomography Measurements of Intraocular Structure (Co-investigator). To develop a noninvasive system for precise measurements of ocular structures.
Basic Science Research: Characteristics of Cell Adhesion Molecules (CAMS) in the Anterior Segment. To develop a basic understanding of the distribution of CAMs in the anterior segment and outflow pathways, and to utilize the modulation of CAMs to improve outflow.
Basic Science Research: Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) in a Glaucomatous Monkey Model. Basic Science Research: Guarded Holmium Laser Scierectomy. To develop a new surgical guarded laser filtration technique, with the use of adjunctive antimetabolites.
